Dental Nurses
Tempdent will find you locum or permanent work locally to where you live, and in the working environment of your choice.
Tempdent has a range of nationwide positions within a variety of Practices, Dental Corporates, Hospitals and PCTs.
We pay excellent rates of pay & can provide you with full or part time locum/temp work.
In order to work as a Dental Nurse in the UK you will need to have the following;
- Full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Nurse www.gdc-uk.org,

or working towards achieving an accredited dental nursing qualification i.e. National Certificate or Diploma in Dental Nursing NVQ Level 3
As a Dental Nurse practicing in the UK you are required to undertake regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training.
Tempdent provides a large selection of CPD courses either in house at your practice or at Tempdent's training centre.
Tempdent also offers a range of postgraduate dental nursing qualifications, including;
The Certificate in Dental Radiography & The Certificate in Oral Health Education.
Dental Nurses who have qualified overseas must have their qualifications verified by the GDC to ensure that their qualification meets the standard necessary for full GDC registration. To find out more about this Process of Assessment please contact the GDC on www.gdc-uk.org.
To work with us as a temp Dental Nurse or for us to find the permanent position most suited to your needs we will need to carry out an interview in order for us to ensure that we find the correct position for you.
