All prospective staff are given in depth interviews by our specialist dental recruitment team. Their experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, previous work history & references are assessed. All dental nurses are required to complete a written skills assessment.
Through our robust interview process, Tempdent are able to provide our employers with candidates that are most suited to your needs.
Temporary Staff / Locums
- All Temp staff are given in depth interviews by our specialist dental recruitment team. Their experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, previous work history & references are assessed. All dental nurses are required to complete a written skills assessment.
- Through this process we can therefore send you a temp most suited to your requirements.
- Temp nurses, reception staff and practice managers are paid weekly through the agency. The practice will then be invoiced according to the amount of hours worked by the temp.
- Locum hygienists and dentists are paid directly by the dental practice, and the agency will then invoice you an agreed day rate.
- To book a temp/locum please email us or telephone our office. Same day bookings can be made by telephoning our office which is operational between 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday.
Permanent Staff
To inform us of a new position within your practice please upload your vacancy. We will then contact you within 24 hours to discuss your vacancy in person. Alternatively you can telephone us with your vacancy at your convenience.
- We will ask you specific information in regard to the type of person you are looking for particularly in relation to experience, salary range and personality so we can make sure we are only sending you the most suitable candidates for your practice.
- All prospective Perm staff are given in depth interviews by our specialist dental recruitment team. Their experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, previous work history & references are assessed. All dental nurses are required to complete a written skills assessment.
- We will then contact you with suitable candidates matching the criteria that you have specified.
- We usually recommend that following a successful interview that the candidate undertakes a day's trial at your practice prior to the position being offered, in order for you to be sure that the candidate will fit in easily with the dental team.
- Through our uniquely successful training centre we are able to provide you with a selection of Trainee Dental Nurses, all of whom have been carefully vetted & provided with foundation dental knowledge training, by our Training Team before accepted onto one of our accredited training programmes. This service is provided to you entirely free of charge. The trainees are required to attend the training centre for their theoretical training one full day per week.
