Course Overview :

• It is possible to achieve this qualification either at a level 2 or a full apprenticeship.
• The Level 2 takes between 6-10 months to achieve, & the Apprenticeship (which is the Level 2 NVQ, a technical certificate (online test) and keyskills Numeracy, Literacy & ICT at Level1 - unless exempt from keyskills) takes between 8-12 months.
• The awarding body for the Team Leading qualifications is ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management). Tempdent is an accredited ILM Training centre.
• There is government funding available for learners working towards the Team Leading Apprenticeship. Please see below for further details.
• All training is delivered at your workplace. There is no Training Centre attendance necessary.
• Each learner is assigned a workplace NVQ assessor who will visit you on a monthly basis at your workplace to assist you in achieving your qualification.
• The Team Leading NVQ syllabus covers the following topics;
• Manage personal development
• Develop working relationships with colleagues.
• Set objectives & provide support for team members.
• Plan, allocate and monitor work of a team
• Manage conflict in a team
• Participate or, lead & manage meetings
• Make effective decisions
• Procure suppliers
• Employment Rights & Responsibilities
