Apprenticeship Contracts Manager

Role Purpose

As our Apprenticeship Contracts Manager, you will have overall responsibility to manage the information, reporting and compliance for the apprenticeship programmes that we deliver. You will be the key contact with the clients, and will work with our Onboarding team, Line managers, Senior Managers, Data team and Administration team to deliver a high standard apprenticeship programme. You will help to ensure that a positive learning experience is created and delivered.

You will be responsible for working with all teams to ensure the timely completion of all learners, working alongside the Line Managers and closely with the Quality and Curriculum Manager, you will oversee the success, retention and progression of all learners.

You will have overall responsibility of the apprenticeship programme information, reporting and compliance, and will report directly to the Managing Director.

Role Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for accurate monthly submissions to the ESFA and other funding organisations.
  • Managing the MIS Data team.
  • Advising, guiding and supporting the apprenticeship on boarding, delivery and management teams in all government funded contractual requirements.
  • Main liaison for employers concerning all aspects of apprenticeship funding queries and requirements.
  • To work closely with the Quality and Curriculum manager and Line managers to tightly manage LAR learners and make the necessary updates to the learners ILRs.
  • To prepare and disseminate monthly learner progress reports for keys stakeholder dental corporate clients.
  • To work with the senior management team to procure a suitable new MIS and online delivery platform/ software.
  • To ensure full compliance is adhered to with regards to Tempdent’s security, business continuity and infrastructure policies and procedures.
  • To support the senior management team in procurement exercises

Role Requirements

  • It is essential that you have a strong background in of the ESFA/Apprenticeship contract management.
  • It is essential that you have a very strong background in data, MIS, and financial management.
  • Ability to demonstrate a general knowledge of Apprenticeships Standards.
  • Strong reporting and people management experience.
  • You will be confident working with people at all levels within the dental industry and be able to influence at a senior level
  • It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and proven ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • In depth knowledge of Ofsted and ESFA regulations
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise

Quality & Curriculum Manager

Scope

  • To manage all aspects of the quality of Tempdent’s training programmes (including face to face, online/blended learning provision for both long and short courses.)
  • To support with the creation and plan the delivery of the new qualifications.
  • To ensure that Tempdent has a robust curriculum for all its courses.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • To update and continually work within a robust quality assurance timetable to ensure that all aspects of Tempdent’s training delivery is quality assured and working towards continuous improvement.
  • To carry out regular self assessment, review and audit activity on all aspects of the programme to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • To develop and maintain annual self assessment reports, ongoing development plans and progress reports
  • To review, update and manage all existing policies and procedures, as well as create and manage new ones
  • To promote and comply with all current and future Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety legislative requirements.
  • To prepare for and help manage all inspection/audit activity carried out by external organisations and agencies
  • Advise and guide all staff members in best practice and delivery of a high quality, smooth service that meets and exceeds the needs of clients and students
  • Coordinate with and manage other departmental managers to ensure the quality of delivery programmes and that KPI’s are being met and where necessary develop strategies for timely improvement.
  • To manage quality of teaching and learning at Tempdent
  • To manage and be responsible for compliance with all aspects of government funded contracts including meeting all the requirements of the Education Inspection Framework
  • To produce, manage and analyse management information to ensure effective leadership and management, quality assurance & equality of opportunity
  • To chair & co ordinate relevant meetings. To ensure that relevant information is gathered and disseminated to all staff, learners & partners
  • To develop an understanding of relevant dental sector and legislative requirements
  • To maintain confidentiality of Tempdent, learner and staff information
  • To carry out any other duties reasonably requested
