Apprentice Dental Nurse - Worcester Park

The apprenticeship in dental nursing is an 18-month government funded course by City & Guilds, a Level 3 Extended Diploma. Alongside your learning your job role within the practise will entail assisting dentists, sterilising & preparing equipment, reception duties and supporting patient experience.

About the Role

You’ll join a dedicated dental team, helping to deliver excellent patient care while working towards your Level 3 Dental Nurse qualification with Tempdent. This apprenticeship offers real responsibility and fantastic career prospects. Your responsibilities may include:• Assisting clinicians chairside• Preparing surgery areas and materials• Managing infection control and sterilisation• Recording patient details accurately• Following all practice procedures and protocols

You will be required to be immunised against Hepatitis B. You will also need to pass a DBS check.

Shift Pattern

Shifts to be confirmed but within practice hours: Monday 09:00 - 17:00 Tuesday 09:00 - 17:00 Wednesday 09:00 - 17:00 Thursday 09:00 - 18:30 Friday 09:00 - 15:00 Saturday - 09:00 - 14:00

Am I eligible for the Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship?

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are 16 or older.
  • Live in England and have the right to work in the UK.
  • Are not currently in full-time education.
  • Meet residency requirements (usually having lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 years).
  • Do not already hold a qualification at the same level or higher in a related subject.
