The apprenticeship in dental nursing is an 18-month government funded course by City & Guilds, a Level 3 Extended Diploma. Alongside your learning your job role within the practice will entail assisting dentists, sterilising & preparing equipment, reception duties and supporting patient experience.
As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you’ll support clinicians to deliver a range of high-quality dental treatments and help the smooth running of your surgery and the practice. Working and learning on the job as an apprentice Dental Nurse in a private practice - roughly 38 hours over Monday to Friday no weekends. Qualification is a level 3 in Dental Nursing. You will assist the clinician with all dental treatments, plus more.
