What we may ask from a practice

To ensure your apprentice receives effective, timely support, we may request:

  • Release time for additional maths or English sessions
  • Support for increased coaching frequency in the first 3–6 months where confidence or communication barriers
    exist
  • Simple workplace adjustments to reduce barriers to learning
  • Input during tripartite reviews to discuss progress, support needs and development opportunities
  • Cooperation with intervention plans if a learner begins to fall behind

Your commitment to us

To help us deliver the best possible experience for your apprentice, we ask that employers:

  • Release learners more frequently during intervention periods so they can attend targeted support sessions
  • Attend tripartite reviews (or nominate a colleague) to collaboratively support progress
  • Provide a workplace mentor or supportive colleague who can guide, encourage, and help the apprentice apply their new skills in practice
