Qualified Dental Nurse

The Role

Permanent Dental Nurse position

Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 6:00pm

Based in a 4‑surgery practice

Mixed patient base (NHS & private)

Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance across routine dental procedures

• Supporting clinicians with implant dentistry (experience or interest preferred)

• Preparing and maintaining surgeries before and after patients

• Ensuring high standards of infection control and decontamination

• Supporting safe and efficient delivery of patient care

• Maintaining accurate clinical records and confidentiality

• Providing a calm, professional, and patient focused experience

• Working collaboratively within a close knit dental team

Experience & Requirements

• GDC registration required

• Ideally 1–3 years’ experience (strong candidates outside this range considered)

• Comfortable working in a mixed NHS/private environment

• Reliable, organised, and patient focused

• A positive team player with a professional approach

Salary & Benefits

• £14.00 – £16.00 per hour, depending on experience

• GDC registration paid by the practice

Am I eligible for the Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship?

You may be eligible if you:

• Are 16 or older.
• Live in England and have the right to work in the UK.
• Are not currently in full-time education.
• Meet residency requirements (usually having lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 years).
• Do not already hold a qualification at the same level or higher in a related subject.
