About the role

We are delighted to be supporting a friendly, forward‑thinking, mixed practice offering high‑quality NHS and private care (approx. 70/30 split).

With continued expansion across multiple sites, they are now seeking a Dental Nurse to join their growing team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, loves working in a supportive team, and values a practice that genuinely invests in development and wellbeing.

  • Location: North Yorkshire (within easy reach of two neighbouring practice sites)
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:45–17:30 (1 hour unpaid lunch)
  • Salary: £13–£14 per hour (DOE)

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing chairside support across two surgeries, with rotation between two nearby practice sites (approx. 6 miles apart).
  • Supporting Foundation Dentists as part of a collaborative clinical environment.
  • Handling routine clinical duties, stock management, and ensuring excellent cross‑infection control.
  • Getting involved in school education visits and Invisalign‑related activity where required.
  • Working within a team that describes the day as “hard‑working but balanced and manageable”.

The ideal candidate

To be considered, you should be:

  • A qualified or newly qualified Dental Nurse.
  • GDC registered or in the process of applying (practice welcomes fresh applications).
  • Warm, positive and team‑focused.
  • Someone who enjoys being part of a young, friendly clinical team with daily communication and strong support structures.

Why join them?

This practice offers an exceptional package, including:

  • GDC fees covered.
  • Indemnity covered.
  • Uniform provided (scrubs and smart shoes).
  • Nest pension.
  • Free dental and hygiene appointments for staff.
  • Strong development culture – courses, CPD and career growth are actively encouraged; leadership is focused on helping team members grow personally and professionally.
  • Fully funded volunteering opportunities, including international trips (e.g., Dentaid in Uganda) and local outreach work.
  • Enhanced maternity package (16 weeks full pay after one year of service).
  • Fully funded Christmas Ball and Summer Party – excellent social culture and team environment.

This is a genuinely warm, people‑centred practice where development, teamwork and wellbeing are prioritised.

Daily meetings, fair workload distribution and a supportive leadership style create a positive environment where Dental Nurses thrive.
