About the role

We’re supporting a well‑established mixed NHS/Private dental practice in the BH15 area. With four surgeries and a broad patient base – including NHS, private, plan patients, children/families and referral cases – the practice offers a varied clinical environment and a supportive, professional team. They use SOE/Exact and have forecourt parking available.

    • Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (No late evenings or weekends)

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

  • Chairside support for:
    • General dentistry
    • Endodontics
    • Extractions / oral surgery
    • Orthodontics
    • Periodontal treatments
    • Hygiene and therapy sessions
    • Radiography (if qualified)

Non-Clinical Duties

  • Providing excellent patient care and support throughout their visit
  • Assisting with reception / front‑of‑house when required
  • Helping with diary management and appointment coordination
  • Supporting treatment coordination and patient communication
  • Assisting with practice management and CQC/compliance tasks where needed
  • Supporting with HR‑related admin (rotas, recruitment, etc.) as required
  • Assisting with finance / UDA / KPI tracking and basic marketing / social media tasks, if requested by the practice

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A GDC registered Dental Nurse (essential)
  • Confident working in a mixed NHS/Private setting
  • Comfortable supporting a wide range of treatments
  • Happy to help with both clinical and occasional reception/admin duties
  • Reliable, professional and patient focused
  • Eligible to work in the UK (Right to Work required)
  • Able to complete an Enhanced DBS
  • Experience level is open – newly qualified, 1–3 years and 3+ years’ experience are all considered.
