About the Role

Working within a 3-surgery practice, you will play a key role in supporting clinicians and delivering an excellent experience for patients.

Responsibilities

• Providing chairside assistance during a range of NHS and private dental treatments
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms to a high standard
• Ensuring all infection prevention, cross-infection control and decontamination procedures are followed
• Preparing instruments, materials and equipment required for each procedure
• Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical notes
• Supporting patients before, during and after treatment
• Managing stock levels and ensuring clinical areas remain organised and well maintained
• Working closely with the wider practice team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

About You

• GDC registered Dental Nurse or currently working towards registration
• Professional, reliable and patient-focused
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Right to work in the UK

You may be eligible if you:

• Are 16 or older.
• Live in England and have the right to work in the UK.
• Are not currently in full-time education.
• Meet residency requirements (usually having lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 years).
• Do not already hold a qualification at the same level or higher in a related subject.
