Aims
By the end of this module you should be able to:
1. Use age-appropriate communication strategies with children and caregivers.
2. Apply techniques to reduce and manage paediatric dental anxiety.
3. Identify common paediatric dental treatments and their considerations.
4. Understand valid consent in paediatric dentistry, including Gillick competence and the Montgomery approach.
5. Recognise safeguarding responsibilities and signs of abuse or neglect.
6. Recall emergency paediatric first aid and CPR adaptations in practice.
