Infection Control Procedures

Module 4 of the cross-infection control CPD topic looks at specific methods of infection control before, during and after treatment ensuring that HTM01-05 guidelines are being followed. Rather than covering general principles, this module explores time and action specific or sequential procedures, for example the difference between zoning during general and surgical dental treatments.

The aims of this module are to understand specific methods of infection control before, during and after treatment and be able to identify the difference between surgical and non-surgical working procedures.
