Leadership and Management
Module 7 of the cross-infection control CPD topic focuses on staff training and management of decontamination processes. It covers different aspects of management such as understanding the roles of decontamination personnel, health and safety risk assessment procedures and the training needed for staff responsible for implementing cross-infection control measures. This module is aimed at those in charge of leading infection control within their practice and will help to understand aspects covered in module 8 (compliance, auditing and record keeping).
