Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

This module will help you to:

• Understand the responsibilities of all employees, employers, managers, and HR teams regarding ensuring equality and diversity in work practices and procedures.
• Know the Equality Act 2010 and what this law protects.
• Who governs the legislation?
• Define what is meant by equality, diversity, and Inclusion
• Recognise the nine protected characteristics and understand how to promote the equality, diversity, and inclusion of each of them
• Understand what is meant by discrimination, harassment, victimisation, and bullying, how to avoid them, and how to report these behaviours.
• Recognise where personal behaviour changes can be made to ensure everyone feels valued and included.
• Show how equality, diversity, and Inclusion relate to British values.
