Today (Friday 7th April) the government’s new apprentice levy and standards programme has come into effect.
The new compulsory apprentice levy and standards programme has been designed by the government in consultation with employers and aims to close a perceived apprentice skills gap.
Tempdent is one of the UK’s leading national dental training providers with over 20 years of experience in the dental industry. And boasts an outstanding qualification success rate which is 22.7% above the national average.
Lorraine Nadel, Tempdent, Managing Director says; “We are looking forward to working more closely with our employers on the new standards. We anticipate that there will be challenges for both training providers and employers with the introduction of the new training standards and apprentice levy. However, being Ofsted grade 2 verified means we have the expertise and experience to adapt to the new initiative and improve dentistry industry apprentice standards.
We’re already working closely with our employers like Oasis Dental Care to make sure we deliver on the new standard requirements.
