Friday 21st November 2025 marks a very special milestone - Tempdent turns 29 years old! For almost three decades, we’ve been proud to serve the dental community with unwavering commitment, professionalism, and heart. From our humble beginnings at a small desk in a dental surgery to becoming a national leader in dental recruitment and training, our journey has been shaped by you - our learners, employers, clients, and candidates.

Highlights from 29 years of milestones
Here are some of our key milestones over the years:
- 1996: Tempdent Recruitment Agency was founded by Dental Practice Manager, Lorraine Nadel.
- 1999: Began delivering our first National Diploma qualifications alongside the growing recruitment business.
- 2001: Introduced the NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing, now the Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship.
- 2005: Received our first Grade 2 Ofsted inspection.
- 2008: Launched CPD delivery, extending our training offering.
- 2018: Introduced the Level 4 Dental Practice Manager Apprenticeship.
- 2021: Celebrated our 25th anniversary with the launch of the annual conference.
- 2023: Acquired by Knovia Group, marking a new chapter in our growth.
- 2024: Launched the Level 4 Oral Health Practitioner Apprenticeship.
- 2025: Introduced our first-ever Impact Report and launched Isimio for locum staff.
