• Job Overview
• We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic dental radiography qualified dental nurse to join our client a friendly, patient-centred and forward-thinking team. Based in Harley Street you will be responsible for taking OPG and cephalometric x-rays, CBCT scans and iTero intra-oral scans. You will also be responsible for helping with administrative tasks as required.  

• This role will involve working Monday-Friday, with additional weekend work. You will be expected to:
• Perform and maintain a high standard of clinical work
• Maintain a high standard of patient care
• Prioritise patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality
• Assess referrals and justify them under radiographic regulations and locally agreed protocols
• Actively assist in any Quality Assurance, Clinical Governance, Risk Management and Audit Programmes as required
• Use the dental x-ray equipment and accessories correctly and keep them clean
• Report any faults or unsafe conditions in any item of equipment, to the Clinical Lead
• Keep up to date and be actively involved in Continuing Professional Development and be fully conversant with the latest radiographic techniques.
• Have a flexible and pragmatic approach to your work

 Person specification

• Essential Criteria
• GDC Registration
• Diploma in dental Nursing
• Dental Radiography Certificate
• Evidence of relevant post-qualification courses for Continuing Professional Development

• Desirable criteria
• Previous dental radiography experience
• Able to effectively multi-task
• Salary: £30,000-35,000.00 per year plus benefits
