The aim of this module is to educate about the anatomy of the trigeminal nerve, related disorders and possible injuries during dental treatment.

Describe Trigeminal Nerve Anatomy.
Identify common clinical signs and symptoms of trigeminal nerve disorders, such as neuralgia, neuropathy, and sensory deficits.
Understand the potential consequences of trigeminal nerve injury during common dental procedures (e.g., extractions, root canal treatments, local anaesthesia).
Explain treatment options for trigeminal neuralgia, including pharmacological, surgical, and non-invasive therapies.
