• Explain the roles and responsibilities of the lead dental nurse in decontamination
• Discuss the audits to be carried out for cross infection and decontamination following HTM 01-05 guidelines
• Explain the validation of equipment used in the decontamination room
• Explain practice polices and procedures in relation to infection control
• Explain how to complete staff induction training and requirements
