The purpose of this module is to discuss health and safety in the dental practice. 
This module will give you an overview of the Health and Safety  at Work Act 1974 and what should be in place within your dental practice as required by the Care Quality Commission and the General Dental Council.

This CPD module relates to the following GDC outcomes:

C – Maintenance and development of your knowledge and skills within your field(s) of practice.

This module will help you to:

• Work to best practice guidelines in health and safety.
• Understand what should be included within your health and safety procedures.
• Understand what should be included in your dental practice’s Health and Safety Policy.
