Training

This level 3 Safeguarding CPD focuses on facilitating acting as a safeguarding lead within the dental practice. This includes using supervision effectively, identifying training needs and understanding of the sequence of events during a referral. Please note, this Safeguarding course is not a qualification course but a CPD module. It forms part of your requirement for safeguarding training (not the total recommended). The training required for each individual depends on any previous training undertaken, the individual's organizational requirements and their job role.

The aims of this module are to understand the responsibilities of a safeguarding lead, identify signs of abuse and neglect and actions to take.

This CPD module provides you with 2 hours GDC verifiable CPD.

• Describe protocols to establish within your organisation
• Describe the stages of reporting a suspected abuse case
