This CPD explores the relationship between poor oral hygiene and the development of periodontal disease. It helps the learner to understand the stages of the periodontal disease to fully understand prevention.
The aim of this module is to refresh knowledge and understanding of plaque formation, calculus build up and the progression of gingivitis, periodontitis and periodontal disease.
