• Explain the importance of SEND
• Know the legislation links to SEND (Children and Families Act, Equalities Act…)
• Have basic knowledge of the green paper
• Identify signs and symptoms of different learning disabilities
• Dealing with SEND using the graduated approach
• Explain the impact of learning difficulties
• State the support available.
